Los Angeles Urban Artist Debuts Never-Before-Seen Character Art at Mondrian LA

LOS ANGELES, CA – September 11, 2025 – Atelier on Sunset at Mondrian LA is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated exhibition featuring Los Angeles-based contemporary urban artist Jimmy Paintz (Jimmy Pierce). Running from September 11 through December 30, 2025, this groundbreaking show will unveil a collection of never-before-seen character artwork, marking a significant evolution in the artist's celebrated body of work.

Known for his iconic smiley face imagery and positive messaging that has captivated audiences from Los Angeles to Tokyo, Jimmy Paintz brings his signature urban aesthetic to the Magic Box gallery space with an entirely new perspective on character-driven art. This exhibition represents the artist's most ambitious character exploration to date, featuring original works that have remained hidden from public view until now.

The exhibition will showcase Paintz's evolution from his well-known "Seeds of Happiness" project and Tokyo solo show "LET'S MAKE TOKYO SMILE" into uncharted creative territory, where his distinctive urban style meets innovative character development.
